·         96 percent of parents are satisfied with the helpfulness of their Nexus Academy teachers

·         91 percent agree that the teachers improve the learning experience

“We are committed to providing the best possible educational experience for our students and their families. It is gratifying to know that the parents are seeing positive results with their children,” said Brittiany Sanford, Principal, Nexus Academy of Cleveland. “This annual survey is one of the important tools we use to assess our blended program and help us stay in tune with the opinions and perspectives of our families.”

The survey also cited some of the top reasons why students choose a blended school. They include:

·         Want a change in the learning environment from their current school situation

·         Want a more personalized education

·         Want flexibility in schedule to pursue other interests, work part-time, etc.

Nexus Academy’s parent satisfaction ratings stand well above public school ratings from the 44th Annual Phi Delta Kappa/Gallup Poll of the Public’s Attitudes Toward the Public Schools, in which 77 percent of public school parents gave the public school their oldest child attends an “A” or a “B” grade.[1]

Nexus Academy students attend a physical campus where teachers interact with them both online and on-site, while campus-based licensed teachers and “Success Coaches” help guide students through Connections Education’s comprehensive online high school curriculum.
