'One Direction: This Is Us' Premiere Parties Sweeping the Nation (Sponsored)

One Direction — otherwise known as Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Louis — hits the big screen in their upcoming film, "One Direction: This Is Us," releasing Aug. 30. TriStar Pictures.

For fans of One Direction, the wait is almost over. The world premiere of their movie, One Direction: This Is Us is happening in London on August 20th, and in the U.S. on August 26th.

But here's the real news: Fans across the country are gearing up to throw their own premiere parties where it's expected that they'll go crazy, crazy, crazy until they see the sun. You know what I'm talking about.

If you don't know anyone who's obsessed with 1D, but you're intrigued by these five boys from the U.K. (I don't, I don't, I don't know what it is), here's what you need to know: Their new movie follows three mega-hit albums and it's called “One Direction: This Is Us." It opens in theaters across the U.S. on August 30th. And in it, fans will see One Direction like they’ve never seen them before -- back in their hometowns, visiting with their moms, and returning to the lives they had before they became one of the biggest musical acts in the world.

Re-live the best moments of One Direction: This Is Us, including how it all began, when Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis met on Britain’s “X-Factor” and formed the band that in 2012 sold over 12 million albums and were #1 in 37 countries. The movie cuts between concert footage and tender and funny moments between the bandmates and their families.
