The conservative barrage has gone from an interesting aberrant fashion into a draconian mind set folkway. It has to be stopped. The longer this conservative tide continues the more violent the corrections. And the corrections will come to pass.

There is ample evidence we are moving backwards as a society. From the 50’s into the 70’s we were number one in all of the following categories. We (starting with Nixon and established by Reagan) are 17th in reading, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in medium income, 4th in labor force, 4th in exports and it’s harder to escape poverty.

And this backward movement is becoming more imbedded. It is becoming more acceptable to: torture, write laws by corporations, legitimize religion in government, brag how conservatives can be more stupid, began preemptive wars, write laws on myth, write laws for a species that does not exist, bully, make up reality, disparage science, increase pollution, propagate communism by getting rid of government, blame the poor, proliferate poverty, blame the ill, blame the old, be a racist, be a bigot, spew hate, instill false fear, denigrate minorities, praise oligarchy, be a coward and pledge for cults. This acceptability is becoming more permanent, prevalent, organized and obligatory.

It is not so much conservatives scamming but their mental inability to compete. Conservatives on the whole have a lower IQ then Liberals (Psychology Today 8/24/11). In two studies (NYCC and UC Berkley) conservatives: make quick decisions and stick to it regardless of facts, conservatives have limited ability to grasp ambiguity and can’t reconcile ambiguities.
Just one example where conservative’s short circuit: one can keep their principles, with no compromise; at the same time compromise those principles by making right decisions. Conservatives lack intellectual curiosity as can easily be seen with what I have written on Patch.
In the famous paragraph-test of W’s and M’s conservatives display less brain activity and make more mistakes than liberals. Liberals deal with conflicts 4.9 times better than conservatives and are 2.2 times better in accuracy. In simple terms liberals with new facts shun old beliefs faster.

The conservatives are in fear of two things politically. The first is the liberal. We expose their inadequacy by elucidating facts. We show the King has no clothes. Liberals use science and logic. Conservatives can’t stand that. To them using Science is cheating, it’s not playing fair.
Knowledge is our juggernaut. The conservative leaders have to denigrate, make fun and falsify liberalism. The weak and the limited just follow along. You could feel sorry for them if it were not for so much damage.
The second conservative fear is, if everyone who is eligible to vote does vote. The Republican Party would become irrelevant. The racist’s bigoted white male would not be enough to carry victory. They fabricated “voter fraud” to rationalize keeping targeted people from the polls.
Liberals were the saviors of America in 1932 from the same failed conservative policies. We can do it again. Why is it that America was number one; on its way to being truly great when liberals were in charge but since the conservatives took over America is 11th or worse in every noted category?
