Calling All Volunteers - Help Needed at Lakewood Animal Shelter

Busy season also known as kitty season is just around the corner and CCLAS is looking for volunteers interested in working with animals to help out at the Lakewood Animal Shelter.

CCLAS (Citizens Committee for the Lakewood Animal Shelter) is looking for new volunteers interested in working with animals to help out at the Lakewood Animal Shelter.

With kitty season AKA, busy season, just around the corner, the shelter is in need of more volunteers.  Personal efforts by people like you help provide our community's stray cats and dogs with a better quality of life during their confinement and a better chance of finding a new home with a caring, companion family.  Shelter helpers are dependable persons, 16 years and older, who help the Warden on duty on Saturdays between 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities include:

Maybe working at the shelter isn't a good fit for you, don't worry - there are plenty of other ways you can help out the animals such as fostering, collecting donations, or helping at fundraisers.  For more information about volunteer opportunities please visit www.CCLAS.info or contact CCLAS Volunteer Coordinator, Amanda Chicotel, at amanda.chicotel@yahoo.com.
