Tough Time for Wally, Who's Now Looking for a 'Fur-ever' Home

Wally came into the shelter a few months ago, and his poor mouth was angry and swollen!  We took him to the vet, and it turned out he had Stomatitis, a condition where the cat's mouth is allergic to their plaque.  We decided to take a chance and get Wally the surgery he needed.  He had all of his teeth removed, and he's healed up quite nicely.  With an adorable little upturned nose, he snuffles and sneezes quite a bit, but at only about 2-3 years old, he's all heart!  Friendly, loving, he gets along great with other cats!  He just needs to be on wet food since he doesn't have any teeth left.  Come visit him, we promise you'll fall in love!

This kitty is available for adoption at the Lakewood Animal Shelter, located in the Cleveland Metroparks, on Cleveland Metroparks Drive (Valley Parkway) just south of the Dog Park. Adoption fees are always - only $35. The fee includes a deworming treatment, an initial vaccination, flea prevention treatment, a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and an initial wellness exam with a second vaccination from participating local veterinarians.
