Rally in the Alley Slated

Who's taking the dunk tank plunge for charity at Rally in the Alley: Tom Bullock, Colin McEwen, Jason Weiner and many more. Great food, great fun, great times! See you in the Alley!

What could make a typical Sunday afternoon in July in Lakewood a true “Sunday-Funday”?

Rally in the Alley!

The Second Annual Rally in the Alley is sure to be a great time, and you can feel even better about your Sunday-Funday endeavors because all proceeds go to benefit two local charities: Caring Continues Fund and Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach.

The Caring Continues Fund provides help and hope to cancer patients receiving treatment at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center at Fairview Hospital. The fund helps patients with expenses such as rent, groceries, utilities and medications, resulting from their cancer diagnosis.

Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach provides four hot meals a month, health screenings and health education as well as groceries through their pantry and fresh produce (April – November) in partnership with the Cleveland Foodbank to anyone in need in our community.

Rally in the Alley, being sponsored in 2012 in part by Around the Corner, Dewey’s Pizza, Jammy Buggars and The Root Café will have:

Live music: Come hear Xe La play between 2 and 330pm, Pop Rocks between 400 and 545m and Tricky Dick to close us out from 6pm until the end!

Activities: corn-hole, dunk tank, a basketball hoops game, activity books for kids and more! Come see if you know anyone “taking the plunge” in the dunk tank (you might be surprised by whose “in”) – we’ll let you try to dunk folks even if you don’t know them!

and

Great food and beer from our generous sponsors!

All the fun is being held directly behind Around the Corner and Dewey’s Pizza in Haffermalz Alley, between Riverside and Detroit Roads from 2pm – 8pm. Fun for the whole family especially between 2 and 5pm (prizes offered for some kids’ activities!). Stay late and party on the patio at Around the Corner after the event!

There is no admission fee for the event. Food, beer and activities will require purchase of tickets available when you arrive (all transaction are cash only).

See you in the Alley!
