I was born in Lakewood Ohio in 1961 and lived there from 1966-1979 and graduated from Lakewood High School. I was spell bound by Hixson's from the very first time that I had stepped into the doors of the magical wonders of this wonderful store since I was a small child and that has never changed even as an adult. I The pure essence and aromas of this store and the nostalgia and quality is phenomenal. This was my favorite place to go to in the world growing up. I feel that if it were to ever go away it would be as if a piece of magic were taken away from this world....truly. I thank the Hixson family for bringing this speicial piece of miracle into Lakewood for all families to enjoy. :)
