Nature's Bin Raise the Roof Celebration

Thinking of a way to positively impact the community? Join Cornucopia and Nature’s Bin on Friday, Sept. 20, for “Raise the Roof,” a fundraising event celebrating the grand opening of its new vocational training center (VTC) located down the street from Nature’s Bin in Lakewood. The event will feature live music, hor d’oeuvres and appetizers from Nature Bin’s Catering, along with local hand-crafted beer from Buckeye Beer Engine and organic wines from Natural State Wines. There will be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction to raise additional funds for the VTC. Complimentary valet parking will be available. Cocktail attire.

Cornucopia, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides

community-based employment training for people with disabilities. The VTC is used to provide training for people with developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, visual, speech and hearing impairments, and other disabilities to cultivate work skills, confidence and workplace potential in the food and hospitality industry.

Approximately 70% of the ticket price is tax deductible. Proceeds from the event will benefit Cornucopia’s vocational training center.
