Dog Show Set for Senior Center

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Saturday, the community is welcome to bring their dogs to the Lakewood Health Campus to help raise money for the Lakewood Animal Shelter. Admission is free.

Next Saturday, July 23, the is going to the dogs. 

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., community members can bring down their canines, enjoy an inexpensive lunch, enter contests and win prizes, campus director Tammy Sibert said. 

“They can win great prizes. We have some great giveaways. And if they do decide to purchase any food or enter any of our raffles, all the proceeds are donated to the

“This event is really a fun and memorable time, and we’re eager to celebrate our fourth year in a row at the campus,” director Tammy Silbert said. 

The contests will include: best trick, biggest dog, cutest dog, best trained and smallest dog.

The Community Dog Show also features exhibits, water fun for the dogs and play areas. 

All are welcome and admission is free. The Lakewood Senior Health Campus is located at 13900 Detroit Avenue near Bunts Road.
