What is the Cleveland Craft Coalition?

Who is the CCC? Why do they carry pointy sticks?

The Cleveland Craft Coalition is a group of locals who are spreading the handmade movement one awesome craft show at a time.

Started in 2010 by a few Lakewoodians who wanted to offer the community something different, something cooler.

Our motto is to offer people things you never knew you needed but will now realize you cannot live without! Numbering over 100, we are taking over this town!  Monthly shows are held at Bela Dubby on Madison, and larger seasonal shows are held a few times of the year.  Our new website, www.clevelandcraftcoalition.com lists the many artists who comprise the CCC and make us who we are.

The pointy sticks some of us carry are knitting needles, used to make cozy scarves or maybe cat toys for your favorite furry feline.  Or it could be a crochet hook, used to make one of a kind amigurumi characters such as squid and owls.  Or maybe it's a needle, used to stitch up a Hoodoo Doll or maybe a Zombie Sock Creature.

Lots will be going on for the upcoming holiday season with the CCC.  Our November Show will be on Saturday the 12th, from 1-5 pm at our usual haunt,  Bela Dubby.  One of our favorite shows of the year is our Black Friday Show, held on you guessed it, Black Friday (Nov. 25).  In response to those shopping at malls and waiting in long lines, we offer you the relaxed atmosphere of the Spitfire Saloon on W 117th.  Have a beer, sit and chat with us about our creations.  By supporting our artists and buying handmade, you not only directly help your local economy, but you also will give a totally unique one of a kind gift!

In December, we will be busy busy busy!  Our December 10th show will be held at  on Madison and a two day last minute holiday shopping extravaganza will be held at  on Madison on Friday, December 18th and Saturday, December 19th.

Can't wait to check us out?  Good!  We promise you will not be disappointed!
