The Lakewood Cash Mob is Coming... Again

A new month...a new cash mob. Join us!

What is a cash mob?

A group of people get together, who love supporting local businesses, and get out there and spend at least $10 at the selected business.

Lakewood now has one, and we are gearing up for our second mob this Saturday at 6 pm.  The first was held at Goddess Blessed and it was a great success.

50 people showed up and helped support a great local business.  One attendee commented that "I have always driven by but never stopped in, so glad I finally did!"  If you have never checked out Goddess Blessed, you really should.  It is a great eclectic shop ran by Kathy Curran, a lifelong Lakewood resident.

She carries many unique items, from books to Zombie Socks!

For April we will be mobbing a business on Detroit, and it is a perfect choice for Spring! The location is usually kept secret, because the idea is to support local business, regardless of it being a place you usually shop at.

We will meet at 6 pm at the corner of Detroit and Clarence for the mob.  Then we will be teaming up with Eaters of Lakewood and heading over to Barroco Grill, 12906 Madison, for dinner.

Shopping and eating local, a perfect combination!

Some have wondered, who is behind the Lakewood Cash Mob

My name is Chris, and I own Crafty Goodness on Madison.  As an owner of a small business, I know the importance of having community support.  I thought starting a Lakewood division was a great way to give back to the many wonderful businesses I have come to know and love while being a part of the Lakewood community.

Hope you can join us this Saturday for the April Cash Mob
