Lakewood Cash Mob This Saturday

Join the mob — the Lakewood Cash Mob — this Saturday.

On Saturday, March 31 the very first Lakewood Cash Mob will take place at 7 p.m.

We will be meeting at the public parking lot at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Hilliard (corner of Carabel and Madison).

The location that has been chosen is within steps of this lot. The location is kept secret because mobbers should not pick and choose which events to participate in. The goal of a cash mob is to support a local business, regardless of it being a place you would or would not normally frequent.

The owner of our first mob is a lifelong Lakewood resident who does so much good for her community.

The store chosen has been informed, and has been busily preparing for the big day.

If mobbers are unfamiliar with the area do not worry: there will be signs to direct guests to the appropriate lot.

Shoppers are expected to spend a minimum of $10 at the event buying local. A small amount can make a huge difference when enough people get together!  After shopping, guests are encouraged to attend the after party at a neighboring bar.

Join the Lakewood Cash Mob on Saturday, March 31st at 7 pm. Buying local and supporting small business is what this is all about.  Each month we will mob a new location. Email lakewoodcashmob@yahoo.com with any questions.
