The idea is simple, get a group together and "mob" a local business.
Each person attending spends a designated amount, usually around $20. The business is informed prior to the "mob" so they can be ready for a great day of sales.

Buying local is more important now than ever.
There are so many great small shops in the area that need the support of the community to stay open.
Lakewood is so lucky to have so many unique businesses, everything from Art Galleries to Zumba Classes can be found here. Cash Mobs are popping up all over the country and doing so much good, so why not in our own backyards?
That is precisely why the Lakewood Cash Mob is now in existence! Each month we will select a local business to mob, and every attendee will spend at least $10. Such a small amount can make a huge impact when enough people are involved!
