There’s a New Pizzeria in Town

Rosario’s hosting its grand opening after opening its doors on Madison Avenue last week.

Rosaria’s Pizza, at 14201 Madison Avenue, opened its doors last week.

The menu features pizza with 10 available options, including the classics: pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms.

But there are also other items that include salads, breadsticks and sandwiches.

Owned by Dave Schreiber and his son, Dave Schreiber Jr., Rosaria’s Pizza opened last week.

And business has been picking up as word spreads, the younger Schreiber said.

“We moved here from Florida,” he said. “We found the right building. We looked in Cleveland, but we really liked this area.”

Delivery is available by calling 216-226-2026.

The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.

I hope they do better than the last two (or more?) pizza places that have opened up there and then disappeared before I even had a chance to try them.

My name is David Schreiber owner of Rosaria’s pizza. We have herd the stories about the last couple of pizza shops that have occupied this building in the last year, and I just wanted the community to know we are not affiliated with them at all. We opened planning to offer a fantastic product, at a affordable price. I personally make the sauce and dough from scratch. We use all fresh veggies, and meats. We are hoping we can settle down and become apart of this community. So come on down or we will bring it to you, and give us a try. Rosaria's Pizza, Simply The Best.

Davd - Does your sauce contain any meat at all?

To Peter, my pizza sauce does not contain meat, our spaghetti sauce does.

Does your pizza dough contain trans fats?

Hey all. We just tried a pizza & an order of breadsticks from here last night and everything was FANTASTIC. The sauce was especially excellent with lots of spices and seasoning. The crust was both crispy and chewy and very tasty. Lakewood has some pretty good pizza joints but I for one am glad to have something new. We will definitely become regulars here. Hope they do enough business to stick around!

I just looked at every ingredient I use for my dough, cause I have never thought to look and see if the dough has trans fat or not. All the ingredients said 0 Trans fat.
