The details about the diner’s abrupt exit aren’t quite clear, but according to court records, the building’s owner Tammy Asimakis filed an eviction notice in on Feb.12 — citing $12,000 in back rent. 

According to court records, it’s the third time since 2009 that eviction notices were filed against the diner.

On March 1, the Lakewood Municipal Court, giving the diner 14 days to vacate, granted the eviction.

On Wednesday, witnesses reported police officers clearing equipment from the diner, at 14412 Detroit Avenue.

Two Dads’ co-owner John Kamkutis did not return calls seeking comment.
