It's Cuyahoga County Fair Time

115th annual event set Aug. 8-14 at fairgrounds in Berea

The 115th annual Cuyahoga County Fair starts Monday and runs through Sunday, Aug. 14 at the fairgrounds in Berea.

Visitors will find 20 midway rides, more than 100 food stations and thousands of animals and exhibits on the 117-acre site.

Events this year will include demolition derbies, moto-cross, a haunted house, thrill shows, fireworks, harness racing and tribute bands.

General admission, which does not include rides, is $6 for adults and $5 for seniors 60 and older and kids 4-12. On Thursday, Aug. 11, kids 4-16 get in for $2.

Grandstand events include a free country concert Thursday featuring Randy Montana andKip MooreTime Traveller, a Moody Blues tribute band, on Friday; The Cinema Show, a Genesis tribute band, on Friday; and Pink Floyd tribute band Wish You Were Here on Saturday.

Demolition derbies are set for Monday and Sunday; moto-cross is Tuesday and harness racing is Wednesday.
