Tempest, has bought the vacant Hinkley Lighting distribution center at 12750 Berea Road for $1.85 million.

An industrial refrigeration and heat transfer systems company looking to expand has chosen a spot in Lakewood.

And it’s bringing a reported 25 jobs with it.

More jobs could be added in 2014.

The manager of the company told LoveLakewood that the company — the same firm that owns National Freezer and Great Lakes Mechanical — needed more space to manufacture its custom-designed fluid heat transfer systems.

Turns out that the 65,000-square-foot building was a perfect fit. 

Extensive renovations are planned before Tempest moves in the space, reported LoveLakewood.com.
