Chocolate Walk Event a 'Sweet' Tradition

The event is scheduled for Oct. 25, but act quickly. Last year's event sold out in two weeks.

Don’t look now, the Lakewood Chocolate Walk is quickly becoming a sweet Lakewood tradition.

Last year, the annual event sold out in two weeks, and organizers expect this year to be no different.

Sponsored by the Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance, the event is slated from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25.

In a nutshell, participants will stroll through Lakewood, sampling “unique chocolate treats” as they stroll.

Cats On Holiday will perform at Rozi’s Wine House — the final stop of the evening — with ice cream bars as the delectable finale.

To purchase tickets, at $25 a pop, stop into Rozi’s. There are 225 available. They are expected to sell out.

New this year, and limited to only 50 tickets, is the “Pre-Walk” VIP Reception at Deagan's Kitchen & Bar from 5 to 6:15 p.m.

Feeling fancy?

As reception sponsor, Deagan's will provide a signature chocolate drink, prepared especially for the evening, a chocolate fountain and a choice appetizer.
