Time to Cut a Rug at Swing Dance Concert

It's never too late to get in the swing of things.

On Friday, residents of all ages are invited to the Lakewood Masonic Temple for a family-friendly swing dance event, according to Gethepswing.com.

Got cold feet? Get to the dance by 8 p.m. and DJ Sarah Siertle will host a jitterbug dance lesson.

Following the lesson, the Hollywood Slim Band will provide live music from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors.

You don't need a date or dance experience, and organizers recommend you wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes.
