Why Go: Named one of the “Top 50 All-Time Greatest Guitar Players” by Guitar Player Magazine, Monte Montgomery is a guitar wizard with an untouchable pop sensibility. Check out him and his critically acclaimed originals this Saturday at the Winchester.  

2. MADISON CRAWL AT THE ROOSTER 

Where/When: Saturday, September 24, 9:00 pm/ 

Why Go: Madison Crawl brings an awesome mash-up of styles to the Screaming Rooster this Saturday. Their funky, jazzy, brassy, ballsy, punk-y blues packs a serious punch and is definitely worth a listen.

Why Go: Meet the Wonderettes at their 1958 high school prom, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts and voices to match. Fast-forward to their 10-year reunion and learn about their lives and loves and how their friendships have changed and endured - as they sing all your favorites from the '50s and '60s.

4. POP ROCKS AT THE TAP HOUSE

Why Go: Stop by the Tap House for a cover band that adds a lot of its own flavor to your favorite songs. Pop Rocks infuses all of the hits with several unique tweaks to keep them fresh.

Why Go: Jordan’s Family Foundation’s 2nd Annual Recess ROCKS! will take place on Sunday, September 25th from 1 – 5pm.  The event turns Lakewood Park into a large playground and feature dozens of energizing activities for kids and families to have fun and play while also learning a bit about healthy living.
