This weekend is full of great music with a little bit of something for everyone!

Why Go: Wallace Coleman is an innovative harmonica player who has played the blues both locally and internationally for years. He'll be joined by 2011 NEOBA Showcase winners Memphis Cradle— a versatile blues band and Paul Borger— a finger-picking guitarist.

2. G.S. HARPER DUO AT THE SCREAMING ROOSTER

Why Go: Blues, country and R&B artist G.S. Harper is coming to The Screaming Rooster on Friday. Originally from Texas, this singer/songwriter has played all over and has an upcoming show with country star Chris Knight in October.
Where/When: / 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3
Why Go: This top 40 dance band brings big energy and solid vocals to their own spin on your favorite songs. You'll be up and dancing the night away to everything from Carrie Underwood to The Beatles.

Where/When: / 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3
Why Go: There's only one more month left to get locally-grown produce and more on Saturdays. On Saturday, there will be outdoor yoga by Acenda Raw Balance at 10:30 a.m., a demonstration by at noon and advice from Dr. Katherine Caputo from Great Lakes Natural Medicine.
5. JAZZ YOU LIKE IT AT THE WATERBURY COACH HOUSE
Where/When: / 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2
Why Go: Doris Long and The Joe Hunter Trio with Dallas Coffey will play Al Fuller, Toby Packard and more guests at the Waterbury Coach House on Saturday. The group will be playing traditional jazz so head down for a relaxing evening.
