‘The Little Dog Laughed’ Opens at Beck Center for the Arts

Show to run through Nov. 11 in the Beck Center’s Studio Theater.

Examining the scandalous world of Hollywood has never been so much fun.

“The Little Dog Laughed” opened at the Beck Center for the Arts over the weekend.

The show is running through Nov. 11 in the Studio Theater.

Here’s the plot, according to a new release from the Beck Center:

Mitchell Green is a hunky movie star who could hit it big if it weren't for one persistent problem. His hard driving Hollywood agent can't seem to keep him in the closet. Will Mitchell’s career be derailed before it gets started with what his agent describes as a "slight recurring case of homosexuality?”

Beck Center is featuring Douglas Carter Beane’s smart, satirical comedy at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.

However, there is no performance on Nov. 10.

Tickets are now on sale.
