From the original screenplay — by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin — Spamalot tells the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail.

“It is every Monty Python fan's dream to be able to direct this show,” said director Scott Spence in a press release. “And makes all of those years watching Monty Python every Friday night on PBS so worthwhile.”
