Unseasonably warm weather brought thousands to downtown Lakewood for the fifth-annual LightUp Lakewood event.
Sponsored by LakewoodAlive, Light Up Lakewood took over downtown on Detroit Avenue from Marlowe to Arthur avenues.
It was truly a winder wonderland.

The event featured the region’s only winter parade, a ceremonial lighting of holiday lights at , an appearance by Santa Claus and street entertainment.
There were plenty of holiday-themed activities.

Santa Claus was on had. So were his elves, the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman and others.
There was also live music, including the Trash Talkers.
