2.FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY SPRING BOOK SALE

Why Go: The Friends of Lakewood Public Library are hosting their annual Spring Book Sale with shelves of books at extremely low prices. All proceeds benefit the Lakewood Public Library.

Why Go: One of the tightest and most entertaining cover groups in the Cleveland area, Tricky Dick and the Cover ups has years of experience and a mindboggling song list of hits and classics to rock you all night long. It's like putting your iPod in a blender with Guitar Hero and turning it up to 11.
4. LAKEWOOD OLD HOUSE FAIR
Where/When: , Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: If you want to learn more about how to fix up your older home, stop by the Lakewood Old House Fair. The exhibition will include two presentations from the Cleveland Restoration Society and tons of representatives from local businesses that can help you figure out the right way to remodel the kitchen, pick a color for the awnings or fix a leaky window.
5. GRAND OPENING WEEKEND
Where/When: , Thursday, 8 p.m. through Sunday
Why Go: For those who've worked hard this past week and want to play harder this weekend, there's a different event each night to keep the party going until Monday morning, not to mention $2 bombs all weekend.
On Thursday Binge Red performs at 9, and there will be "Human Slingshot Bowling” with Beetlejuice and Dominic from The Howard Stern Show.
On Friday, there is an open bar from 7 to 9 p.m. and The Websters play at 10.
There's grilling all day Saturday with chef Deaf Jeff as well as a wing-eating contest and a cornhole tournament with prizes totaling $200.
There's free Budweiser and Bud Light for the ladies 8 to 12 on Sunday, DJ GU stops in from South Beach and there will be a balloon drop with cash prizes.
