Relay For Life

It’s been nine years since Lakewood’s had a Relay for Life event.

The drought is over.

The goal of the volunteer-driven event is to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society

Teams of volunteers — from local businesses, schools, churches and families — will take turns walking or running the track under the stars at.

Taking place at the Rangers Stadium, doors will open at 5pm on Friday June 15th with the magic from Rick Smith Jr! Live music on the main stage starts after the opening ceremony with 2nd Half kicking the night off at 6:30. Following them regionally touring performer, Diana Chittester takes the stage at 7:30. And Eli Carr & Crew close out the main stage performing at 8:30. At the main gate you will hear the unique sounds of St Ed's Trash Talkers at 8pm followed by a Luminaire at 9:30. The performers will be selling CD's and merchandise where 30% of profits will go directly to the Relay for Life!

Then it all begins again at 8am Saturday the 16th. With Vance Music Studios kids kicking off the morning from 9am-11. 

Come join us for the closing ceremonies at 11:30am.
