Ohio Chautauqua: Lakewood
This five-day event combines living history, music, education, theater and audience interaction in an exciting community cultural event for all ages. This year’s theme for the Ohio Chautauqua is the Civil War. Each night under the big tent, a music presentation will set the stage for a living history performance of a pivotal figure from the Civil War.
During the day, adult and children programs at the Lakewood Public Library and Beck Center for the Arts dig deeper into an aspect of the Civil War. For more info and a schedule, go to www.lakewoodhistory.org.
