Jim Schafer and Friends in Concert

Jim Schafer is a singer-songwriter-guitarist based in Lakewood, Ohio.  A veteran of concerts, clubs, colleges, radio, television and the recording studio, Schafer is celebrating the release of his studio CD, "Tell A Friend" and a new season of live performance.

Musically, Jim Schafer mixes active acoustic guitar work with a voice known for its clarity and sensitivity displaying a style which is uniquely his.  An accomplished songwriter, Schafer's songs are known for melodic balance, lyrical insight and frequent humor. 

A new backup ensemble featuring Don Kerr on guitar and
Ron Thomas on electric bass adds instrumental depth and
harmony vocals to the mix.  Gary Nelson opens the show.
