Damon Fowler, Victor Wainwright, JP Soars: A Night of Great Blues

"[Damon Fowler has] the complete package: facile fervor on a Tele, a lap-steel, and a flattop with a truly compelling vocal style and soulful, sound writing."
- Guitar Player Magazine.

Damon Fowler's guitar work has been compared to Johnny Winter and Jeff Beck, while his slide guitar has a hint of the late Duane Allman. He can play fiery guitar runs with the best of them, but it's his lyrical work on lap steel and Dobro that makes him stand out among the legions of guitar heroes.  With his hybrid of roots rock, blues, and sacred steel, Fowler wows audiences as one of the hottest young players on the scene, with critics extolling his originality and maturity as well as his technical guitar expertise.

“[Victor Wainwright's album Lit Up] is straight-up Blues of the first order; an entertaining listen from top to bottom and rates 5 stars. Check out this musical offering and hear the future of the Blues for yourself.”
- American Blues News.

Victor Wainwright is a singer, pianist, and “hepcat” from Memphis, Tennessee. He is a raucous high-octane dynamic performer and crowd pleaser with soul to spare who is making a name for himself in a big way. Victor plays power-house blues, Memphis soul, and roots rock’n’roll featuring high-octane boogie piano and big soul vocal sounds.

"[Blues guitarist] JP Soars is one of those rare young guitar slingers that can play anything, anywhere, at any time. The blues world is fortunate to have him. He studied the music of the blues greats as well as jazz players such as Wes Montgomery and Django Reinhardt, and jump-blues bandleader Louis Jordan. You can find evidence of his mentors in his arrangements. Give a listen to "Back Of My Mind" and see why JP soars high, long, and far as a Bluesman!!"
- Music City Nashville.

JP Soars & his band took the blues world by storm by winning the coveted 25th annual International Blues Challenge (IBC) in 2009. Soars also individually won the Albert King Award, for best guitar player in the 2009 International Blues Challenge.
