Commander Cody and Band in Concert
Ever since his wild early days as a front man for the Lost Planet Airmen, Commander Cody, a truly unique and iconoclastic figure, has brought his barrel house, rockabilly, boogie-woogie piano playing to the American music scene. He scored a Top 10 hit off his debut album with the song "Hot Rod Lincoln."
Cody's crew practices a loose-jointed, rollicking brand of bar-room boogie woogie that sounds like it's been steeped in beer fumes. They are legendary for marathon live shows. Today, the Commander Cody Band features Comander Cody on vocals and piano, Mark Emerick (Marshall Tucker Band) on guitar, Steve Barbuto on drums, Chris Olsen on pedal steel, and Randy Bramwell on bass.
Don't miss the Commander Cody & Band traveling road show, a unique blend of redneck country, rockabilly, blues, boogie woogie piano and old time rock 'n' roll.
