Agents Of Mercy (Featuring Roine Stolt of Transatlantic, Flower Kings), District 97 in Concert

"If the classic line-up of Genesis were Swedish and still recording today, then this (Agents Of Mercy) may be what they would sound like. You are presented with great melodies and harmonies throughout, the music scales to climatic crescendos with strange and unusual lyrical structure."
- Dutch Progressive Rock Page.

Swedish progressive rock band Agents Of Mercy was formed in 2009 and cultivated by guitar guru Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Kaipa) and eccentric singer Nad Sylvan (Unifaun).

The band consists of:
Nad Sylvan (Unifaun) on vocals and keyboards,
Roine Stolt (Transatlantic, Flower Kings) on guitars,
Jonas Reingold (Flowerkings, Karmakanic) on bass,
Lalle Larsson (Weaveworld, Karmakanic) on keyboard, and Walle Wahlgren on drums.

Roine Stolt also performs in the supergroup project, Transatlantic, with Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Neal Morse (Spock's Beard) and Pete Trewavas (Marillion).

District 97 is undoubtedly the most musically adventurous rock band in the world to feature an American Idol Top 10 Female Finalist.  The Chicago-based band was formed in the Fall of 2006 and honed a no-holds barred style of experimental rock before deciding the right vocalist was needed to complement their sound; enter 2007 American Idol Top 10 Female Finalist, Leslie Hunt.

Leslie's dynamic performances pushed District 97 into a new direction that forged a unique marriage between accessible, catchy vocal melodies and an adventurous instrumental prowess, including one of Chicago's finest young guitarists, Jim Tashjian. With this new lineup of peerless musicianship in place, District 97 began wowing crowds and establishing a devoted fanbase.
