Beck Center Annual Report Highlights Growth, Successes

It wasn’t too long ago that the Beck Center for the Arts faced some “precarious” challenges.

Safe to say that the cultural institution is doing quite a bit better these days.

In the past four years, Beck Center has achieved positive net income, all while continuing the programing it’s so well known for — and increasing its visibility in Lakewood and the region. 

In its 80th year of operation, Beck Center recently released its first annual report. 

"Our single defining mission in everything we do is to inspire and enrich through dynamic arts education and performances,” according to the report.

“Whether we are helping a shy child build self-confidence through performing on stage, encouraging an adult to discover a passion for painting, or teaching letters of the alphabet to a youngster in music therapy, our arts experiences open a new world of possibilities and offer meaningful, hands-on creative experiences.”
