Pet of the Week: Perseus

City's animal shelter has lots of pets — just like Perseus — seeking a home.

Meet Perseus — which is the perfect name since this little guy purrrrs like he's getting paid.

He is a young male, about 9 months old, who will seek out your affection.

Perseus is a beautiful adult orange and white tabby. He is neutered and vaccinated, so he's ready to go home and snuggle with you.

If you are interested in adopting Perseus, contact the at 216-529-5020, and ask about collar No. 48.

Adoption hours are from noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The shelter is located at 1699 Metropark Dr. in Lakewood (in the Metroparks, just beyond the Lakewood Dog Park).
