Inaugural Lakewood Scarecrow Festival a Frightfully Good Time

More than 35 spooky scarecrows were posted in the Uptown Lakewood neighborhood on Madison Avenue. But there's still time to check 'em out and pick your favorite.

Warm weather brought out the crowds for first-ever Lakewood Scarecrow Festival on Saturday.

You could say they had a frightfully good time.

Dozens of scarecrows were unveiled in their assigned locations throughout the Uptown District along Madison Avenue. Event organizers had hoped for 25 Scarecrows this year, however there were nearly 40.
