A Fond Farewell From the Editor of Lakewood Patch

Ohio Patch sites among hundreds losing local staff.

The past three years have been among the most enjoyable — and the most rewarding — of my career.

I could have never imagined how folks in this community would support Lakewood Patch, and embraced the work that I’ve done. I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

From breaking news to warm-and-fuzzy features, it’s been a privilege and an honor to tell your stories. I’ve met hundreds of interesting and amazing people during the past few years.

The site isn’t going anywhere; so if you’re interested, please continue to post your events, announcements and blogs. For more in-depth stuff, we’ve got some other great news and information outlets around town. Check ‘em out.

If you see me around, please stop and say hello. Heck, you might even catch me staring at a laptop at the Root Café this afternoon.

I am absolutely in love with this city and the people here. So, this is not goodbye.
