Lakewood Scarecrow Festival

 The First Annual Lakewood Scarecrow Festival begins 

                              Saturday, October 12th!


Scarecrows will be placed in assigned locations throughout the Uptown District beginning October 12th . Event organizers had a goal of at least 25 Scarecrows this year; however the goal has been exceeded, and 40 scarecrows are expected .

100% of proceeds benefiting the Kiwanis of Lakewood and Uptown Lakewood. Prizes will be awarded in several different categories.

Scarecrows will be installed from 8am-Noon on Saturday, October 12, with a short “Naturalization” Ceremony that will be held at 12:30pm  at the Beer Engine (15315 Madison Avenue).

Voting will be held from Saturday, October 12 to Sunday October 27thh. Ballots will be available from the Buckeye Beer Engine, on line at www.startneo.info where you can find a full list of participants.  Also, the Lakewood Scarecrow Festival  has a facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/lakewoodscarecrowfestival?ref=hl

•An Award Presentation Event will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Beer Engine, 15315 Madison at 7:00 PM.
