The Lakewood Shelter is FULL!

As fast as people are adopting from us, the shelter fills right back up with Lakewood's homeless cats and kittens. The shelter is FULL, again. Nearly all the cages are filled, plus we have more than 10 cats/kittens out in foster care at any time.

Erma (collar 160) is extremely friendly with people...but thinks she's better than most of the other cats at the shelter! She knows her family is out there, waiting to give her the attention she deserves.

Looking for a "dog" cat? Then Sally (collar 131) is your girl! While in foster care, she followed her family from room to room, always wanting in on the action.

And finally, if large, calm cats are your preference, we have Tiny! Tiny is recovering in foster care from a gastrointestinal sickness, but is feeling much better and hoping to find love soon.

See more of our adoptable cats and kittens at www.cclas.info.

These and many more great cats and kittens are available for adoption at the Lakewood Animal Shelter. Adoption fees are always low - only $35 - and includes a deworming treatment, an initial vaccination, flea prevention treatment, a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and an initial wellness exam with a second vaccination from participating local veterinarians. The Lakewood Animal Shelter is located in the Metroparks, just south of the Lakewood Dog Park. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 12 - 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 12 - 4 p.m.
