Cookies for Kitties! Calling all Bakers: We need YOUR help!

Once again CCLAS will be hosting a Bake Sale at the Lakewood Arts Festival to benefit the Lakewood Animal Shelter.  The event will be August 3rd from 10am-6pm.  We are asking for sweet treat donations for both people and pets!  Can YOU help?

Here are some of the most important details to remember if you would like to donate to our event: 

  • All food treats must be divided up into serving sizes and packaged in a ziplock bag or saran wrap, according to food sales guidelines. (We cannot sell food that is exposed, like a cupcake on a plate, it must be wrapped.
    • Labeling bags with ingredients is appreciated but not mandatory
  • Homemade dog and cat treats are VERY POPULAR with our customers.  Donations of this kind are encouraged and greatly appreciated!
  • We welcome human treats that have specialty features like vegan or gluten free.
  • If your food donation has nuts in it, please let us know when you drop off the items. We will add a special sticker on it to let our patrons know.
  • If you want to help, but don’t have time to bake. We would appreciate bottles of water, cans of soda or juice boxes to sell.

    All of our monetary donations and proceeds from the sales of donated treats will support the animals at the Lakewood Animal Shelter and CCLAS’ spay/neuter program, foster program, and medical treatments for the animals at the shelter.
