Please join Mayor Summers and Councilman Tom Bullock on National Bike to Work Day for the ribbon cutting of the Lakewood’s first ever on street bike parking.
This bike rack will be able to accommodate 10-12 bikes and is part of the on-going implementation of the Bike Lakewood Master Plan. This is the first bike rack in lakewood to take up a car parking spot and will provide plenty of bike parking for the Root cafe's weekly wednesday bike night. A gathering of like minded cyclists.
Please join us for this ceremony and our weekly bike night, Wednesday's starting at 5pm.

More About The Root Café
The Root Café has carved out a niche as a hip place to enjoy coffee, food and music in the community. Opened in late 2009, it offers a vegetarian-centric menu, which features its signature veggie pizza, freshly-made pastries, and other food items. Beverages include a selection of craft beers, Asian teas, tisanes and smoothies. There are open-mic music nights here as well.
