Live Well Lakewood, a grassroots community organization dedicated to promoting healthy, active living in Lakewood, is sponsoring an event to teach you how to prepare healthy, delicious meals quickly and on a budget and to make healthy choices while dining out.
This program will focus on ways to improve the way we eat and the choices we make. From 1:00–4:00PM you can browse displays in the east cafeteria; pick up tips on nutrition; and receive a free glucose screening. At 1:00, 2:15 and 3:00PM we have special guest chef demonstrations in the Culinary Arts Demo Room.

More About Lakewood High School
The tenth largest public high school in the state, Lakewood High School has lots to be proud of. The school has received continued "excellent" ratings on the state's report card — not an easy feat. The school is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion. Another point of pride for high school principal Bill Wagner is the fine arts program at the school — one that receives national recognition.
