Come to one of these free Earned Income Tax Credit Clinics where trained volunteers will help you apply for money that you may be entitled to.
In order to qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit, your earned income and adjusted gross income (AGI) must each be less than:
- $43,998 ($49,078 married filing jointly) with 3 or more qualifying children
- $40,964 ($46,044 married filing jointly) with 2 qualifying children
- $36,052 ($41,132 married filing jointly) with 1 qualifying child
- $13,660 ($18,740 married filing jointly) with no qualifying children
Clinics will be held at the Lakewood Public Library on Janaury 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Appointment times on these dates will be 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m..

Lakewood Public Library is a mid-sized public library that serves the City's 56,646 (2000 population per U.S. bureau of the Census) residents at the Main Library and the Madison Branch. Both locations provide an assortment of library services to adults and children. The library has a large and diverse collection of books, movies, music and audiobooks, as well as computer access.
