Well done, Kevin! Political cartooning is hard work (mostly because critics respond to the opinion expressed rather than the effectiveness of the piece), but worthwhile. Yours is a great example: The details highlighted in this single panel (I found the "I.O.U." pennant especially moving) aptly counterpoint the quote, thus presenting a complete argument that can be apprehended in an instant.

Thank you, but most of the credit for the initial idea has to go to my mother; I merely executed the idea. I'll admit that this is a fusion of her ideas and mine, beacuse I simply wasn't satisfied with the initial concept as it was presented to me.
At any rate, thank you for your kind (and objective) comments.
P.S.: It was certainly easier that I'm not at all fond of the Romney/Ryan platform.
