Panel and Community Discussion on what we in Lakewood can learn from the Newtown tragedy. Panelists are: William Denihan, Executive Director, Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board, Cuyahoga County; Nickie Antonio, Member, Ohio House of Representatives from Lakewood; Kevin Butler, Law Director, City of Lakewood; and Ken Trump, President and CEO, School Safety and Security Services. Each panelist will present his or her thoughts followed by a question and answer session. The purpose is to facilitate a public dialogue so that we as a community can learn from what happened in Newtown.
This is the first in a series of discussions that Cove United Methodist Church and Lakewood Christian Church will sponsor. Future topics and times will be announced. All are for promoting community discussion and learning on topics important to us all. All events are free and open to the public

I added the information on time, location, etc., to the calendar and didn't think to add it to the blog post.
The event is Sunday, 3 March, from 2 to 4 PM at Cove United Methodist Church, 12501 Lake Avenue. Lakewood Christian Church shares our facility and is a sponsor of the event. Parking is off of Cove and Clifton Avenues though it is limited.
Let me know if you need any additional information.
