I took full opportunity for bragging rights of the City of Lakewood on the floor of the Ohio House of Representatives on the last day of session before summer break.

The Lakewood High School Lady Rangers Rugby Team and State Champs were recognized on the floor of the House with congratulations from myself and Speaker Batchelder.

With great poise, Team Captain Jessica Wagner extended appreciation for the honor on behalf of the team.

This was followed by the recognition and congratulations to Ohio Principal of the Year, Dr. Wagner who also extended his appreciation for the honor.

It was a proud day for Lakewood! Thanks to the coaches, parents and team members who all made the trip to Columbus.
