Friends of Rachel's Club Represents Harding Middle in Light Up Lakewood Parade

The Friends of Rachel's Club (FOR Club) at Harding Middle School reached out to the Lakewood Community last Saturday at "Light Up Lakewood" to promote random acts of kindness and spread the message of how important it is to be a friend to others.

The FOR Club, consisting of approximately sixty students in grades 6-8 and three staff advisors, is part of Harding's anti-bullying and positive school culture programming.

The staff and administration are very active in promoting positive student behavior and give full support to this student group's attempts to spread kindness throughout the school.

Members of the FOR Club at Harding had the exciting opportunity to ride on a float created by Brennan's Floral Gift Shop and ask community members watching the parade to accept the challenge, "Be a friend, not a bully"!
