In preparation for tonight's Lakewood Kiwanis Club Pizza Bake-Off, we asked earlier this week who’s got the best pizza in town.
Hundreds responded to our completely unscientific poll.
Overwhelmingly, Lakewood Patch readers picked Zappitelli's on Madison the best pizza pie in town.
The Lakewood Kiwanis Club will make an official selection tonight, as it hosts the Lakewood Pizza Bake-Off at Lakewood High School starting at 5 p.m.
The event benefits programs for children that Kiwanis supports. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under (students get a discount).
You should totally go.

That is real crazy, we had Zappitelli's the first week it opened

tasted the spaghetti and meatballs and it was very good. my kids want me to pick it up again. also tried the pizza at the lakewood bake-off, excellent. i can see why they won the award. thank you
