Woman Find Bullet Hole, Bullet in Her Winchester Avenue Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Bullet found

A woman in the 1600 block of Winchester Avenue found a bullet hole in the wall of her home at around 2:45 p.m. Sept. 9. Then, she found the bullet. It’s not known when her home was shot.

Domestic violence

A man was charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of Nicholson Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. Sept. 8 after he struck his girlfriend in the head.

Tree branch down, broken window

A large tree branch broke off and crashed through a neighbor’s car window in the 2000 block of Brown Road at around 7 a.m. Sept. 8. Police told the neighbors that it was a civil matter. 

Vehicle versus bicyclist

A bicyclist was struck by a car, and refused medical attention, near the intersection of Andrews and Detroit avenues at around 1:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

Man carrying large knife

Someone told police that a man “carrying a large knife” was walking on Wagar Avenue at around 7 p.m. Sept. 8. 

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee

A man was spotted throwing “air punches” and tossing around chairs on the patio outside the Caribou Coffee on Detroit Avenue at around 2 p.m. Sept. 9. When officers showed up, they learned that the man was being attacked by a bee.
