WATCH: Homecoming Parade Marches Through Lakewood
The parade made its way from Lakewood Park to Lakewood Stadium on Friday at rush hour.
A parade made its way through Lakewood to mark the high school’s homecoming football game on Friday night.
Different groups and teams — as well as the high school marching band — marched from Lakewood Park to Clifton Boulevard and Bunts Road en route to Lakewood Stadium for the Rangers matchup with Rocky River High School.
Traffic was stopped along the way, as puzzled motorists watched the 15-minute parade wind its way through town.

Too bad to hear the news of the Lakewood Parade after the fact when I could have walked to see it. Same with the enjoyable fireworks I did get to watch from my porch last night from the Homecoming event. They were great.

I'm still wondering why this great event is held on a Friday evening, which means the football team ("homecoming game") is unable to participate. I'm sure there's a logical explanation, but it would be nice if it could be looked at again.
