UPDATE: Missing 12-Year-Old Girl is Found

Raina Bennett found in the early morning Friday and returned to her mother.

The missing 12-year-old girl, last seen in Lakewood, has been found, news sources reported Friday.

Cleveland police haven’t shared many of the details, but Raina Bennett was reunited with her mother at around 3 a.m. Friday.

The Cleveland girl’s mother was worried about her after she went missing Dec. 30, following an argument.

According to police, she was last spotted at a Lakewood hotel.

So she was found before your missing article was sent? Isn't this the second time the patch has done this with missing kids?

With a 12 year old kid isn't it better to be safe than sorry?

Ryan, the first post ran at 2:20 a.m yesterday (this is the second). Looks like she was found an hour later. What was the first time?

I hope the police are investigating her facebook page. I was able to find a middle aged man from Rochester posting comments on her pictures about how she looks older than she is.

Colin, thank you for clarifying. The other instance i was thinking of was the 8 year old in october. I am glad the patch is reporting current events, it just seems sometimes the headlines in the morning updates should be updated when sent. The article may have been written prior but the daily email was sent after she was found yet the original headline is in the email. My email time stamps could be incorrect though. Thanks. Ryan

Your email time is absolutely correct, but that's not necessarily when the the posts are published. The publish time is what you should look at.
Also, nothing was changed in the story of the 8-year-old boy who was missing — but immediately found — in October. No updates there. No changes to the headline either. (If there are changes to a specific post, it will be highlighted in italics at the top)

That's the post, right? You can tell that there was nothing changed, just by reading the URL.
Hope that answers your questions, Ryan!

Maybe you would like to take over the patch. If you can't say anything good then shut up. Colin does a great job getting us info on time.

Tony, thanks for the kind words. But I don't mind the questions.
