Teens Walking on Thin Ice in Lakewood

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Teens spotted walking on Lake Erie

Police received a report that between four and five teens were walking on the ice on Lake Erie near Lakewood Park at around 2:45 p.m. Jan. 29. When officers arrived they didn’t find the teens on the ice, but walking along the shoreline. They were advised and sent on their way.

Disturbance

A man in the 1200 block of Clifton Prado told police that his girlfriend punched him in the face “several times” at around 1 p.m. Jan. 29.

Robbery

A man in an apartment building in the 1200 block of Cove Avenue told police that he was robbed of $200 by two men — named Mike and “Ice” — at around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29.

Copper pipe stolen

A home in the 2100 block of Wascana Avenue was reported stripped of its copper pipes at around 11:30 a.m. Jan. 30.

iPhone stolen from school

A man told police that his daughter’s iPod was stolen while she was at school at Lakewood High School on Jan. 30.
